When you want to create more defined curls in hair use a thermal round brush and blow dryer to create your curls. When using a round brush for your blowouts here's a HOT TIP: Heat up your thermal round brush with your hair dryer BEFORE you place the brush into the hair. By heating up your brush first it will help to heat the hair on the inside of the section (the hair against the brush) while the heat from the blow dryer can concentrate on the outside of the section. This will give you amazing results when your blowout is finished!

When you want to create more volume on top of the head we recommend that you apply a mousse to the top section before you blow dry. An easy way to apply mousse allowing for even product distribution is by dispensing a small amount of mousse into a towel and then "dipping" your comb into the towel. Next, comb the mousse through the hair on the front and back of the section; this will provide even coverage throughout the top of the head which is necessary for achieving a professional quality blowout.

An easy way to create more volume on top of the head is by working with diagonal sections from the crown to the front of the head and then using over direction while you blow dry. We call this area "The Volume Zone." By taking the time to create clean sections, along with the combination of heat, tension and over direction, you will create more volume in the hair with less effort.
